Why manufacture inside Europe

Reselling someone else's product works until the supplier changes the price, runs out of the batch or gives the same offer to your competitor. Your own brand turns the operation into an asset: the label is yours, the formulation is yours, and nobody can take it away.

The obstacle is rarely finding a factory. It's talking to one. European manufacturers work with minimum batches, ask for technical specifications and composition sheets, and won't move without knowing who is legally responsible for the product in the destination market. Sellers arriving from outside usually stop at the first email.

Brokering lets you cross that path with people who have already walked it. We take your brief to licensed factories, translate technical requirements into business language and follow the product until it is manufactured, labelled and available in the warehouse, inside the same operation that will later deliver it.

What the brokering covers

From the first brief to a batch available for sale. You decide the product; we run the process.

Manufacturer selection

We take your idea to licensed factories in Europe and bring back the ones that can produce it at your volume and on your timeline.

Formulation and samples

Composition defined together with the manufacturer, and a round of samples before you commit to the first production batch.

Label and packaging

Labelling built to European rules (ingredients, allergens, nutrition information, batch and expiry) carrying your brand's identity.

Registrations and notifications

We follow the registrations and notifications the product's category requires in each destination country before it goes on sale.

Documentation and traceability

Technical sheet, batch documentation and traceability of what was produced, kept for when an authority or a marketplace asks.

From batch to warehouse

The finished batch goes straight into our warehouses in Europe, with no transatlantic freight or import step in between.

From brief to first batch

  1. Brief and feasibility — You bring the product you want to create, the audience and the intended volume. We come back with what can realistically be produced in Europe, at what minimum batch and under which requirements.
  2. Sample, label and registration — Once the formulation is settled, the sample runs, the label is closed and the registrations proceed. It's the longest stage, and the one that makes the product sellable.
  3. Production and stock entry — With the paperwork in order, the batch is produced and enters our warehouses. From there the product is ready for its first order.

What speeds things up

The more defined the brief, the fewer rounds of back-and-forth with the factory.

  • Product category and what it is meant to be
  • References to similar products already on the market
  • The volume you expect to sell in the first months
  • Destination countries, because regulatory requirements differ between them
  • Brand identity: name, logo and visual direction for the label
  • The retail price range the product must fit for the numbers to work

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a company in Europe to have my own brand there?

Not for manufacturing and logistics: you operate on top of our structure. EU rules do require a responsible party established in the bloc for products placed on the market, and, when needed, that is part of what the brokering sorts out. Your own tax and corporate obligations remain yours; confirm them with your accountant.

Which registrations are involved?

Those required by the product's category and by the country where it will be sold. For food supplements this typically means notifying the competent authority and making sure the label complies. The exact scope is confirmed case by case, because it changes between categories and countries.

What is the minimum batch?

It depends on the factory and the category: a capsule manufacturer doesn't work with the same minimum as a cosmetics or beverage one. You get the number in the feasibility study, before you commit any money.

Is the brand really mine?

Yes. The brand, the formulation and the label are yours. N1 brokers the production and runs the logistics; it doesn't become a partner in your product and doesn't resell your formula to anyone else.
